Possum/Merino is a  new blend of yarn spun in New Zealand. The mixture of these fibres make for a lightweight yet luxuriously warm garment that is resistant to pilling ensuring your garment will still look new for many years to come if properly maintained. Possum New Zealand's yarn is normally spun with a 60% merino lambswool and 40% possum fur mix. This ensures maximum fluffiness and warmth. The yarn is then dyed into a range of different colours to co-ordinate with fur trims.
